Why am I not receiving any requests?

Not seeing any job requests in your pro dashboard? There could be a few reasons: 

Did you add the right categories to your business profile?

We send customer requests to suitable service professionals based on the category they are in. 

For example, if you added the “plumber” category, then we will send plumber requests to you.

But if somebody wants to install concealed piping, then maybe they will fill in a request for “renovation contractor”.

If you can do such jobs, then you should also add “renovation contractor” to your list of categories.

Did you set the correct location served?

When you were setting up your business profile, you were asked to enter the locations that you serve (e.g. GeorgeTown, Ampang, etc).

Please check to see that you have added ALL YOUR LOCATIONS.

For example, if you set “Ampang” and “Cheras”, then you only receive jobs where the customer set the location as “Ampang” or “Cheras”. If you want to see more requests from other locations, you must add those locations to your business profile.

How to edit your business profile to set the correct category and location served

STEP 1: Click to open your profile menu

STEP 2: Click on the business profile you want to edit

STEP 3: Click “EDIT” to edit your business profile

STEP 4: Edit your business categories

STEP 5: Edit your locations served

STEP 6: Save your business profile

You should now be able to see new job requests from the category and locations that you have added.

Are our emails going to your spam folder?

Please check your spam, or junk email folder to see if there is anything from Recommend.my

If there is, you should mark it as “not spam”.

Another way to do it is to add “[email protected]” to your address book.
