Reviews and word-of-mouth recommendations are very important to a service-based business.
Almost every single customer will look for reviews about a company before deciding to hire them.
And, if you have lots of positive reviews, it will make a customer trust you more.
So, HOW do you get more reviews for your business?
There are a few ways to do this:
METHOD 1: EMAIL YOUR CUSTOMERS TO ASK THEM FOR A REVIEW
After you create a Recommend.my business profile, you can email your old customers with a link to your business profile.
Example email (fill in the blanks):
“Dear [[CUSTOMER NAME]], we are now listed at Recommend.my. We would appreciate if you can give us a review. Our page is here: [[INSERT YOUR BUSINESS PROFILE LINK HERE]]”
Your business profile link will have this format: https://www.recommend.my/businesses/your-business-name
METHOD 2: SHARE YOUR BUSINESS PAGE
Share the link to your business profile and ask your customers for a review.
If you are viewing your business profile on a PC or Mac, you can click the sharing buttons to share your business profile on Facebook, Twitter or Whatsapp (shown with the red arrow)
Or, if you are viewing your business profile on your phone, you can click on your browser’s “share” button to share it to another app on your phone (see image below).
For example, you can share your business profile to your Facebook app, Twitter app, or even your Whatsapp.
METHOD 3: MARK A JOB AS ‘COMPLETE’
If you already have been hired through Recommend, you should mark the job as “completed” after you finish it.
We will automatically email the customer to ask for a review.
To mark a job as “completed”, visit your Recommend.my PRO dashboard. Then search for the customer name in the “booked” tab. Click on the quote details for that customer and click the “complete” button (see image)
Note: Pros with zero reviews will get lower priority during job matching. We will also suspend or terminate pros that post fake reviews.
Note: If you have any customers that gave you good feedback over Whatsapp, or on your company website, or even your Facebook page, you can share it with us in this form and we will be happy to upload them for you.
